People living in Muskoka, Parry Sound and Haliburton might want to cover their plants tonight, as temperatures take a sharp dip.

Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory, as an arctic high pressure system moves into the region. Temperatures are expected to drop to near freezing.

The frost advisory has been issued for:

  • Bracebridge – Gravenhurst
  • Huntsville – Baysville
  • Town of Parry Sound – Rosseau – Killbear Park
  • Haliburton – Minden – Southern Haliburton County
  • Bayfield Inlet – Dunchurch
  • South River – Burk’s Falls

Some plants may be damaged or destroyed because of the frost.
