A 53-year-old man, whose body was pulled from the Grand River earlier this week, has been identified, police say.
His name is not being released at the request of the family.
On Tuesday, police were called to the Park Hill dam in Cambridge after reports of a body in the water. The man was dead when he was located in the river and his body was removed by crews from the Cambridge Fire Department.
The man had ties to Kitchener and Cambridge, police said.
The investigation into the man’s death continues and police have turned to the coroner’s office to determine how he died.
