Search underway for man who went for a swim on Siksika First Nation but didn't return

Members of the Gleichen RCMP department are attempting to locate a 61-year-old man who was reported missing on Friday afternoon.

According to RCMP, Alfred Clinton McMaster went for a swim in the Bow River on the Siksika First Nation and has not been heard from since.

McMaster is described as:

  • An Aboriginal male
  • Having brown hair and eyes
  • Approximately 175 cm (5’9”) tall
  • Weighing roughly 75 kg (165 lbs_

Friends say the 61-year-old was wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, jeans and a black hat when he set off for the river on Friday afternoon. He was reported missing at approximately 2:40 p.m.
